Talking to the spiral galaxies within....
SPIRAL GALAXY PRACTICE
The class plan was only a picture in my mind. A picture of a spiral galaxy.
So for context- in ALIGN, my morning practice class series, we are exploring energetic patterns, patterns of defense and patterns of movement.
Last week we started to work on expansion- what happens and has happened historically, when our energy is ready to expand and push out. And since everything moves in spirals, we connected with the radiant navel point and the movement from center to limbs.
So it was not out of the blue this image came, and yet it was a little perplexing.
OK, lets go with it, I thought. So now how to lead clients through a spiral galaxy practice that is curious and embodied? What movement, words, images and directions can I offer to connect them to the concept and the feeling and still give them room to really discover themselves in the exercise?
And one part become clear: Talk to this galaxy within, find out if it has a message.
Here is what I personally heard:
Spiral Galaxy within says:
All will be well.
It is not passive.
It is incredibly active and dynamic
It is not alone - but you must possess your center to be effective.
Love is at the center.
Black holes are the most powerful force in the universe.
Cohesion cannot be avoided.
Antiform and form.
It was so clear and organized I started to wonder:
How does free will fit in?
Free will is a collection of personal power.
What you call evil is never free will. (This was accompanied by a kind of image,,, sort of like a manipulated being…. Can’t quite grasp it yet…)
Only rebirth is free will. (This had another image, like a star shooting off to form new galaxy or cluster of stars.)
This second part had more of my own struggle in it, and so the guidance was less clear. The first part I was open and just wrote what I heard. I have noticed it is like this, I get the guidance short and clear, but my human has an insatiable quality that is like give me more! Then it always gets more muddy.
I think guidance speaks in matrixes that our humanity needs to spend time with, time to figure out how it applies to our lives in the moment. The personal power piece lies in this collaboration.
Of course now, I am curious about you! Can you imagine a moving, dynamic, spiralic galaxy within you? And not just image it, but feel it? And not just feel it, but communicate with it?
